The emergence of current green construction practices is good. However, most current building systems still utilize heavy, costly lumber, steel and cement, inefficient building methods, and require the natural environment to be altered to be built. The world needs a 21st Century construction system for people to live and work in affordable 'green' structures. The current environment of costly land and non-sustainable building technologies that are supported by one hundred year old infrastructures is outdated, degraded and obsolete.

The time has come for a new building technology to establish a foundation for alternative construction methods to flourish and function effectively and efficiently within the new and emerging 21st century infrastructures.

IDEA will use the MicroWeight Structure building technology for its new 21st century Eco-Lab-Villages designed to create self-sustainability and prosperity for its inhabitants.
